After a war, there is always the aftermath.
Battle wounds and psychological scar.
Well, the same goes for after an ACCA paper.
Thankfully no battle wounds.
What I cannot forget until now is some Latin terms I learned in F4 "Law paper"
Here it goes :-
ratio decidendi - reason behind the decision of law
obiter dicta - statement made by judges
mala fide - acting in bad purpose
res ipsa loquitar - take the facts of the case as they are.
Principle of nemo dat quad non habet - only the original owner can pass a good title
volunti non fit injuria - cannot sue if you yourself have consented to the act.
contra proferentem rule - to protect defandant from exemption clause
bona fide - good faith
habeas courpus - protection from unlawful detention
I just cannot forget this stuff.
I think maybe it is kinda cool in a weird kind of way !
